That has investors restless

In the meantime, Microsoft is struggling with the new Windows. spinning a narrative around touch and PCs that few people are finding compelling,Fashion Dresses while simultaneously pushing a two-tablet strategy that people simply find confusing. If ever Apple was going to make a corporate push,Fashion Dresses it would seem that now is the time. This isn't to say the goal is some effort to displace all of Windows is worthwhile. And I can already hear the but-but-but crowd explaining that Apple captures a huge portion of the PC industry's profits despite its small share. But Apple is no longer growing meaningfully on the top or bottom lines. That has investors restless, but should also have the company restless. It sits atop a mountain of money accrued from a nearly uninterrupted run of success over the past decade but now needs to chart a path to avoid becoming the next Microsoft.

The software giant continued to garner massive profits and even produce new products from Zune to Surface that seemed reasonably polished at first glance. Outside of Xbox,Fashion Dresses though, it hasn't had a hit in years. At Daring Fireball, John Gruber has a good post on whether Apple can continue to pump out innovative designs that "delight" people to stay ahead. And perhaps they can. But that isn't enough. You have to grow or die and for the moment Apple isn't growing. Making "the most profit" isn't enough. Apple has a chance to be the de facto seller of tablets and seems intent on expanding its offerings to fight for share there. That's why you saw the Mini and will likely see a larger screen iPad next year. What it hasn't done so far is seized on the weaknesses of HP, Dell and others, though,Fashion Dresses to build a world-class corporate sales organization to push its tablets and PCs aggressively into thousands of organizations worldwide.

It seems content to let it happen organically. With the cash it has and the sales talent that's doubtless available from struggling competitors, the time is ripe for the company to build a world-class group that can sell into the Global 5000. Strangely, the software side of Apple's computer division seems more motivated. The latest version of OS X, called Mavericks, is also expected to be released with the new iPads on the 22nd, and it has a laundry list of feature upgrades. The relatively large amount of excitement that has generated against the Macbooks, which haven't seen major design changes in several years, and the desktop iMacs, which were substantially revamped last year to very mixed reviewed, speaks volumes.
